How to order a custom set
Every Fresh Set is made specifically for you. Here's how the process works from start to finish.
-
1Find your sizeMeasure the widest part of each nail bed in millimeters and match to our size chart on the Size Guide page. Measure all 10 fingers — they're often different sizes on each hand. Not sure? Order a sizing kit first — the cost is credited toward your first set.
-
2Choose your shape and lengthWe offer four shapes: Square, Coffin, Round, and Almond. Each is available in X-Short, Short, and Medium lengths (XS–L sizing). Think about your lifestyle — if your hands are in water often or you type all day, a shorter length will hold up better. Visit our Size Guide for shape and length guidance.
-
3Pick your design or colorBrowse our designs and choose a ready-to-ship set, or select a made-to-order design to be built in your size and shape. You can also browse by style — Chrome, Cat Eye, Abstract, Floral, and more. Not seeing what you want? Any design can be made to order in your preferred colors, shape, and size.
-
4Select your tierEach tier reflects the complexity of the design. Tier 1 ($18) covers solid colors and French tips. Tier 2 ($28) adds a single accent nail, cat eye, or simple design element. Tier 3 ($44) includes chrome powder, layered effects, and up to three accent nails. Tier 4 ($65) is our full luxury custom — unique art on every nail, 3D embellishments, and premium mixed techniques. Not sure which tier fits your idea? Email us and we'll help.
-
5Place your order and leave your notesAdd your set to cart and at checkout, include all your preferences in the Order Notes field: your shape, size (all 10 fingers if custom), length, and any design details. The more detail you give us, the better we can match your vision. We'll confirm your order by email and reach out if we have any questions before we start.
Your application kit
Every Fresh Set order includes an application kit with everything you need to apply your nails at home.
What's in your kit
Nail glue — for a longer-lasting hold (1–2 weeks with proper prep)
Adhesive tabs — for a flexible, shorter-wear option (1–3 days)
Cuticle pusher — to gently push back and prep your cuticle area
Alcohol prep pads — to clean and degrease your nail surface before application
Nail file — to shape and adjust the press-on to fit your nail
Buffer — to lightly buff your natural nail for better adhesion
Step 1 — Prep your nails (both methods)
Good prep is everything. It's the difference between a set that lasts a week and one that pops off by Tuesday. Take your time here.
-
1Push back your cuticlesUse the cuticle pusher to gently push back your cuticles. This creates a clean nail bed surface and prevents lifting at the base. Don't cut — just push.
-
2Lightly buff your nailsUse the buffer to lightly rough up the surface of your natural nail. This helps the adhesive bond securely. A few gentle passes is all you need — don't over-buff.
-
3Wipe with alcohol prep padWipe each nail thoroughly with an alcohol prep pad to remove any oils, dust, or residue. Wait for your nails to dry completely before applying. This step is non-negotiable — any oil left on the nail will shorten your wear time significantly.
-
4Size and lay out your setBefore applying anything, lay out all 10 press-ons and confirm each one fits your nail. Use the nail file to adjust the width or shape of any press-on as needed. It's much easier to file before applying than after.
Nails are not tools! Avoid using your press-ons to open cans, peel stickers, or do anything you wouldn't do with a fresh salon manicure. Treat them with a little care and they'll last much longer — and can even be reused.
Step 2 — Apply your set
Choose your application method based on how long you want to wear your set. Glue gives you the longest wear. Adhesive tabs are great for events, travel, or trying a set before committing.
Nail glue
1–2 weeks · strongest hold
1.
Apply a small drop of nail glue to your natural nail — not the press-on. A little goes a long way. Too much glue will cause overflow and shorten wear time.
2.
Starting at the cuticle edge, press the nail down at a slight angle and press firmly toward the tip. Make sure there are no gaps, especially at the sides.
3.
Hold firmly for 30–60 seconds. Apply consistent pressure across the entire nail surface.
4.
Wipe away any excess glue immediately with a dry cotton swab before it sets.
5.
Avoid water for at least 1–2 hours after application to allow the bond to fully set. The longer you wait, the longer your wear.
Adhesive tabs
1–3 days · flexible & reusable
1.
Select an adhesive tab that fits the width of your nail — trim if needed. A proper fit prevents lifting at the edges.
2.
Peel the backing and apply the tab to your natural nail, pressing firmly to remove any air bubbles.
3.
Peel the top film off the tab to expose the second adhesive layer.
4.
Starting at the cuticle, press the nail down at an angle and press firmly toward the tip. Hold for 20–30 seconds.
5.
Tabs work best in dry conditions. Avoid prolonged water exposure — swim, wash dishes, or do heavy cleaning and the tabs will let go sooner.
Care & removal
Your press-ons can be reused multiple times if you remove them carefully. Never force them off — this damages both the press-on and your natural nail.
-
1Soak to loosenSoak your nails in warm soapy water for 5–10 minutes, or apply a few drops of cuticle oil around the edges of each nail. Both help break down the adhesive gently.
-
2Gently wiggle freeStarting at the side edges, gently wiggle the press-on until it releases. Work slowly — if it's not moving, soak longer. Never pry, pull, or force.
-
3Clean your press-onsRemove any remaining adhesive from the press-ons using a cuticle stick or gently with rubbing alcohol. Clean your natural nails the same way.
-
4Store flatStore your clean press-ons flat in a cool, dry place — away from direct sunlight which can affect the finish. Kept well, a set can be worn multiple times.
